I bring over 20 years of experience serving children and youth in a pastoral role within the military community. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Lee University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regent University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with neurodiverse children, including those with autism and ADHD, enabling me to provide informed, compassionate, and developmentally responsive care to families from diverse backgrounds.

My professional training includes a two-year internship and residency in Clinical Chaplaincy at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where I developed a strong foundation in grief care, trauma support, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I have also served in advocacy roles with children in the Kansas foster care system, supporting vulnerable populations with sensitivity, integrity, and a trauma-informed perspective.

In addition, I have completed EMDR Basic Training Levels I and II, as well as specialized training in applying EMDR with neurodiverse individuals. This blend of pastoral experience, clinical training, child advocacy, and evidence-based trauma therapy enables me to offer thoughtful, culturally responsive, and individualized care.

My experiences in military ministry, hospital chaplaincy, foster care advocacy, and work with individuals with special needs have shaped a deep compassion for people and their stories. I value building authentic relationships with those I serve and enjoy adapting therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs as we work together toward healing and growth.
